Five chimes hung in the browser, tuned to a pentatonic scale, and stirred by the live atproto firehose instead of the weather. Every new post picks a chime — the same account tends to land on the same one — and gives it a strike; a deleted post gives a softer, half-strength one. The recent post rate sets the wind: quiet stretches barely stir the tubes, a busy firehose keeps all five swaying and glinting. When the firehose is loud enough that every single post would ring out as noise, most posts still jostle the chimes visually but only a sampled handful actually sound — audio stays musical no matter how hard it's blowing. Pick a material for the tone (wood, bamboo, metal, glass) and a key for the scale. Built for @zzstoatzz.io. Nothing is recorded; it all runs live in your browser with Web Audio.
